OnOff, winners of the competition to open the live stage at The Music Show this weekend, are gearing up for what is the biggest Irish gig of their career to date.
The band will appear at 12 noon on Saturday, kicking off what promises to be a brilliant weekend of live action.
"I am over the moon to win this competition," lead singer and guitarist with the band Paul Daly told Hot Press. "I would like to give a big thank you to all fans, friends and family who voted for OnOff and gave us their support. Winning the Music Show slot is a fantastic opportunity for OnOff to showcase our songs to the music industry."
The band have released one album to date independently, entitled Hey Jack You're Late and have toured Germany, Holland, Belgium and other parts of Europe. A hard rocking three-piece, who number Green Day, Weezer and Rage Against The Machine among their influences, they promise a hot live show tomorrow, with the objective of winning new fans – and seducing the music business leaders who will be at the RDS in numbers over the weekend.
