Orla Gartland and Amble have been announced as part of the line-up for Ticketmaster’s Breakthrough acts for live music 2025 list.

The ticketing company’s list aims to put focus on new and developing talent in the live sector.

Other selected acts include Myles Smith, Alessi Rose, Killowen, Swim School, Sienna Sprio and more.

Andrew Parsons, managing director Ticketmaster UK, said: “These 10 acts are bringing something fresh, real, and exciting to the music scene – they’re exactly the kind of talent fans crave right now.

Having established herself as one of Ireland’s best young artists with her acclaimed debut Woman On The Internet, Gartland released her sophomore record Everybody Needs A Hero last October.

It was rated a 9/10 by Hot Press, writing that the musician “manages to traverse emotionally difficult terrain with an infectious sense of fun, replete with clever quips and electric energy.”

Folk three-piece Amble have also seen a steady rise this past year, with three sold-out Olympia dates in November and December and a recent inclusion on RTÉ 2FM Rising Artists line-up.

Previous Ticketmaster Breakthrough lists included Central Cee, Wet Leg, FLO and The Last Dinner Party.
