Other new entries in this week's Independent Chart include The Smile and Aphex Twin.
Following the release of her acclaimed second album Everybody Needs A Hero last Friday, Orla Gartland has soared straight to No.1 on this week's Independent Chart. The LP also enjoyed a big week on the Irish Albums Chart, where it debuted at No.8.
Everybody Needs A Hero was named Hot Press's Album Of The Month for October – scoring a rave nine-star review.
"Gartland manages to traverse emotionally difficult terrain with an infectious sense of fun, replete with clever quips and electric energy," Riley Glaister-Ryder wrote in her album review of the LP for Hot Press.
The Top 10 of this week's Independent Chart features two other new entries: The Smile's Cutouts at No.3, and Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Volume II at No.7.
Other Irish acts in the Top 10 include Fontaines D.C. (Romance at No.2), KNEECAP (Fine Art at No.9), and The Dubliners' (50 Years at No.10).

Over on the Irish Albums Chart, meanwhile, Coldplay have scored the top spot with their new album Moon Music. Orla is the only Irish act in the Top 10 of the Irish Albums Chart this week.
