Our Friends Electric
Hailing from Antwerp, Plastyc Buddha make song-based electronic music.
Hailing from Antwerp, Plastyc Buddha make song-based electronic music. ‘Friends’ is their second long player and each track is executed tastefully with soulful vocals accompanying the infectious hooks and mournful chords. ‘Outstretched’ represents the height of their sweet but disposable range, but, as the 80s synth tribute on ‘Private’, the sensuous deep house of ‘Sleep With Me’ and the wispy, folky ‘Ce Soir’ and ‘Lovely Tunes’ demonstrate, they’re also willing to step outside their box and experiment.
