After releasing their debut album Good Lies earlier this month, the electronic duo Overmono has announced plans for a 2023 world tour, complete with a Dublin date at Vicar Street.
The electronic duo Overmono, made up of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, dropped their debut album, Good Lies, only a few days ago.
Now, in honour of said recently released album, the two have announced that they are embarking on their largest tour ever.
The message came through their social media, where Overmono had earlier shared that the collection was a "letter of love to the journey so far and shows where we want to go."
Telling fans that they were "gassed to announce this run," Overmono also disclosed that the tour would stretch across two continents, covering the U.S. and Europe. It even includes a date at Dublin's own Vicar Street venue on October 6th.
"Unbelievably excited to be playing a bunch of cities close to our hearts as well as visiting some places we've never played before."

Following Good Lies' release, Tom and Ed posted a photo of them at the Two Dogs pub on Berwick Street in London, a nod to a gimmick where the duo is represented by two canines throughout their promotional art.
Even the album cover of Good Lies features a dog, smiling up at the sky with a chain-link collar, as did their 2022 EP Cash Romantic and 2020 EP Everything U Need.
It should be noted that while Good Lies is the DJ dance duo's first album, they've been releasing music since 2016 when they dropped their debut EP Arla I and now have a dedicated fanbase eager to come support them. So be prepared when tickets to see Overmono live go on sale at 10AM this Friday, May 19th.
