The doom-folk outfit ØXN's newest record, CYRM, releases this autumn.
Experimental doom-folk band ØXN has announced the release of their first album, CYRM (pronounced "sy-rum"), as well as an accompanying series of tour dates. They will be playing some spooky Halloween shows at The Sugar Club in Dublin on Tuesday 31st October and Wednesday 1st November.
Both nights will have different support: Iona Zajac will join them for the Halloween date, and Poor Creature will play on the Wednesday date.

Comprised of musicians Radie Peat of Lankum, Katie Kim, John ‘Spud’ Murphy and Eleanor Myler of Percolator, ØXN has gathered massive attention with just one track officially released, June's 'Love Henry'. The first signing to the iconic Irish label Claddagh Records in 18 years, ØXN began as a side project between Radie Peat and Katie Kim in 2018 but has since blossomed into a full-blown band. Its unique, other-worldly soundscapes and dramatic lyrics dig deep into themes of love, loss, longing, revenge and ritual.

The band commented on the creation of the album, speaking on its creation. “During some phase of the pandemic, we went up to Hellfire Studios and got battered by gales and petted cows while putting down the bones of the album. Some of said gale can be heard on The Feast. The rest of it, mainly vocals, recorded by Katie and Spud back in Guerilla Studios.”
Tickets are on sale now, priced at €25 including booking fee.
ØXN's debut album CYRM is due to release on vinyl and CD Fri 27th October.
