Dingle-based singer-songwriter Pa Sheehy has announced the release of his new single ‘Towards the Water’, set to come out tomorrow, June 21.
The former Walking on Cars frontman is off the back of a sold out European Tour, as well as playing support to Bruce Springsteen at Hyde park last summer.
The new, energetic track is layered with nostalgia and venture, with Sheehy recalling “being so lost in my early 20’s, and wanting to run away.”

The singer adds: “a friend once told me you're always just one decision away from changing your whole life, and I guess I’ve leaned into that a few times over the years.”
The track follows the release of Sheehy’s 2023 EP Lost In A ‘90’s Arcade, a record which focused on five intimate songs.
Speaking of his inspirations in an interview with Hot Press last year, Sheehy cited Phoebe Bridgers: “I completely fell in love with her album, Stranger In The Alps," he said. “Her new record is awesome too, and then of course the boygenius stuff. She’s on a different level.”
