Patti Smith has announced a run of special gigs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her debut studio album, Horses, including a date for Dublin's 3Arena on Monday, October 6, 2025.
The 78-year-old singer will celebrate the 1975 record with her band. She will be joined by two members of the original group, Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty, along with keyboardist/ bassist Tony Shanahan, who has been a part of her band for thirty years. Jackson Smith will also join on guitar.
Special Horses gigs have been announced for seven European cities: Dublin, Madrid, Bergamo, London, Brussels, Oslo, and Paris.
Along with these, she has also scheduled shows for nine cities in the U.S.: Seattle, Oakland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Boston, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
The tour announcement comes after a recent incident where she collapsed on stage in Brazil in January, just 30 minutes into her performance.
She later took to her personal Instagram to release a statement saying, "I just want to let everyone know that I am fine. The account being spread by the press and social media is grossly exaggerated".
