The show, also joined by The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood, marked the finale to McCartney’s Got Back 2024 tour.
Paul McCartney reunited with fellow Beatles member Ringo Starr during the finale to his Got Back 2024 tour at London’s O2 Arena gig yesterday.
The two musicians played ‘Sgt. Pepper's Reprise’ before going straight into an electrifying ‘Helter Skelter’. Starr then addressed the crowd by saying: "I've had a great night and love you all, especially this man," gesturing toward McCartney.
He was also joined on stage by The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood, with whom he interpreted a rousing rendition of The Beatles’ classic track ‘Get Back'.

In another surprise of the evening, McCartney unveiled his long-lost Hofner 500/1 bass guitar, which had been stolen from him in 1972. Reunited with his lost instrument earlier this year, McCartney expressed his delight to the audience:
"We've been looking for it for 50 years, well, I got it back!" he exclaimed. "And here to make its first stage appearance in 50 years... is my original bass! I haven't played it in 50 years."
The evening included over two hours of McCartney’s repertoire and wrapped up his 2024 Got Back Tour.
