Paul Weller will perform at the 3Olympia Theatre, Leisureland and Ulster Music Hall this October.
Acclaimed Woking-born musician Paul Weller has announced his return to Ireland post-lockdown with gigs in Dublin, Galway and Belfast this year.
The former Jam member will play Leisureland Galway on October 8th, Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on October 11th and Belfast's Ulster Music Hall on October 12th.
Weller's legion of Irish fans missed out on seeing him live when the singer-songwriter/guitarist was forced to cancel his sold out 2021 dates due to Covid.
Last May, Paul Weller released his acclaimed 16th solo album Fat Pop (Volume 1), which came in just under twelve months following June 2020’s chart-topping On Sunset.
Weller’s most recent release, An Orchestrated Songbook - music from right across Paul’s exceptional career, reworked and redefined alongside The BBC Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed conductor Jules Buckle - was released last December.
The 63-year-old initially achieved fame with the punk rock/new wave/mod revival band The Jam. He had further success with the blue-eyed soul music of the Style Council, before establishing himself as a solo artist with his eponymous 1992 album.

Much of Weller's songwriting is rooted in English society, with many of his songs with the Jam featuring lyrics about working class life. He was the principal figure of the '70s and '80s mod revival, often referred to as "The Modfather", and had an influence on Britpop bands like Oasis.
He recently collaborated with Suggs on 2022 single 'OOH DO U FINK U R'.
Tickets from €49.50 including booking fee go on sale Friday 27th May at 9am via Ticketmaster.
