Paul Weller has released an exciting new single, 'Soul Wandering,' setting the scene for his upcoming album 66, also announced today.
Scheduled to drop on 24th May, 66 is set to be a highlight to Paul Weller's illustrious catalogue, further solidifying his status as one of the defining artists on the scene right now.
As the title and artwork by Sir Peter Blake indicates, The Jam member's new album marks the completion of another journey around the sun, which will will be released on the eve of his 66th birthday.
Weller has made it his creative mission to push artistic boundaries while staying true to his roots. 66 promises to be no exception, offering a captivating journey through his continuing musical evolution.
The first lead single 'Soul Wandering' boasts an oblique, percussive groove, which foreshadows an introspective, reflective bent for the upcoming album, pulling back the camera lens to shine a light on Weller's sonic prowess in relation to his peers and contemporaries.

To celebrate the release of his forthcoming LP 66, Paul Weller will embark on an extensive Ireland and UK tour, with a sold-out show at King John's Castle in Limerick on 3rd July, and a headline performance at Trinity College Dublin on 4th July.
