Pebbledash have announced their upcoming Of Seaweed and Sandstone UK/Ireland tour, set to take place this November.

The tour will include headline shows at Cork's Cyprus Avenue on November 6, and at the Workman's Cellar in Dublin on November 7. It will also feature a co-headline at Belfast's Voodoo Festival on November 8, alongside Stratford Rise.

Speaking about their upcoming run of shows, the Cork four-piece said they "want to exhibit the sound we began to develop after the release of our debut EP with the songs we wrote in the following months."

"Spurred by a renewed sense of confidence, the tour allows us to show off this new stage of Pebbledash, where we can continue to establish ourselves as songwriters and musicians," they added.

The band said the tour's name comes from a trip they took to Dunmore East last year.

"We were staying in a house perched precariously on top of this sandstone cliff overlooking the beach and spent a few days just chatting and playing whilst the landscape just had its huge effect on us," they said.

"The contrasting image of seaweed on sandstone, the soft and the rugged, the moveable and immovable, the rough and the smooth, became a great metaphor for the music we are writing and exploring, the textures we want to create both musically and lyrically," they added.

Pebbledash released their highly anticipated debut EP Four Portraits of the Same Ugly House in January of this year. Known for their innovative fusion of shoegaze, noise rock, dream pop, and traditional Irish music, the band continue to grow their reputation both as a live band and in the studio.
