Pelican
x
It’s been a while since we heard from po-faced indie darlings The Maccabees, and with two commendable albums to their name (2007’s Colour It In and 2009’s Wall Of Arms are sill on rotation in HP HQ), we’re more than happy to welcome them back. ‘Pelican’ shows a more frantic, psychedelic side to the London fivesome, a musical indulgence that comfortably pays off.
