All day festival will feature 100 bands and solo artists on 6 stages
The sixth installment of the Performance festival will take place this December 27 at the Village and Whelan's, featuring 100 musical acts on six stages over a fourteen hour period. The event will be separated into two parts, with an all ages day show running from 11am until 6 pm and an 18+ night show kicking off at 7pm and lasting until 2:30am. Tickets will run you €10-€12.
The stages will be themed and featuring a wide range of genres and styles, including appearances by Mark Greaney of JJ72, Idle Time, The Echoes, Donal Quinn, and Arthur's Day contest semi-finalists The Riptorns. This year, the event is also debuting its Workshop and Clinic Stage, which will be playing host to 40-minute sessions on drums, bass, guitar, sound engineering and DJing, among other things.
