Pet Shop Boys have announced new 2023 UK and European dates, including a show at 3Arena Dublin on June 19th for their acclaimed 'Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live' tour.
The new tour dates kick off with a show in Rome on June 13th next year before taking in cities across the continent including Dublin, Paris, Helsinki and Copenhagen, closing in Gothenburg on July 9th. The set list includes all 22 of their European Top 10 hits.
The English synth-pop duo formed in London in 1981, consisting of primary vocalist Neil Tennant and keyboardist Chris Lowe. Having sold over 50 million records worldwide, the British pairing achieved five US top ten singles in the 1980s, a solid feat.
Three-time Brit Award winners and six-time Grammy nominees, since 1984 they have achieved 42 top 30 singles, 22 of these being top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart. Other hit songs include 'Go West', a cover of 'Go West', and their own 'Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)', and 'What Have I Done to Deserve This?' in a duet with Dusty Springfield.
Some of the Pet Shop Boys' biggest tracks of the last few decades include 'Jealousy', 'Paninaro', 'It's a Sin', 'King's Cross', 'Heart (disco mix)', 'Left to My Own Devices', 'Being Boring' and 'Flamboyant'.
‘Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live’ tour is Pet Shop Boys’ first ever greatest hits tour and has seen them receive rave reviews for the shows in the UK and across Europe.
