With 'Dreamland', the Pet Shop Boys share the first single from their upcoming album.
Another pop collaboration sees the light of day! Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander and the Pet Shop Boys teamed up for the insanely catchy bop 'Dreamland'.
The song is everything you'd expect from a collaboration between Years & Years and the Pet Shop Boys: poppy synthesizers, falsetto vocals and danceable beats. Check out the lyric video for 'Dreamland' below:
The track is the lead single for the Pet Shop Boys' new album, which doesn't have a name nor a release date yet.

The duo says: "We have had a busy year finishing our new album with Stuart Price and writing songs for Musik and My Beautiful Laundrette. We've also toured the Far East and are looking forward to bringing our biggest hits together in a new tour next year. It's so exciting that our new single is a collaboration with Years & Years, one of the most original and successful bands to emerge this decade, and we really enjoyed writing and recording it with Olly Alexander."
Written by Chris Lowe, Neil Tennant and Olly Alexander, the song was produced in Los Angeles and Berlin. The lyric video features several references to the German capital, such as the design of the underground and an 'Ausfahrt' sign near the end of the video.
A few weeks ago, Years & Years played the main stage at Electric Picnic Festival. Read the full Hot Press review here.
