Having seriously grabbed our attention at Longitude, Petite Noir returns for a Dublin Academy headliner on March 4 in support of his extremely well reviewed La Vie Est Belle/Life Is Beautiful album.
Inspired by the likes of Mos Def and Fela Kuti, the Artist Also Known As Yannick Ilunga travelled to Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo to shoot the video for lead single 'Down'. The 23-year-old was born in Brussels to a Congolese father and Angolan mother who moved the family to South Africa when he was six. No wonder he's so hard to pin down musically!
