There's good news for Dublin's rock 'n' roll starved masses with Phantom FM being awarded a second Temporary Radio Licence by the BCI.
There's good news for Dublin's rock 'n' roll starved masses with Phantom FM being awarded a second Temporary Radio Licence by the BCI.
Kicking off on Saturday March 27, you'll be able to hear the station every weekend up until June 27 on the new frequency of 92.1 Mhz. You can also listen to them outside these hours at www.phantomfm.com
Meanwhile, it's full steam head with Phantom's application for one of two full-time specialist franchises that have been put out to tender by the BCI.
Says a well-placed source: "Having given them a second TRL, it'll be strange if the Commission turn round and say to Phantom, 'Sorry lads, but we're giving the permanent one to somebody else.' At the same time, I can imagine other applicants going, 'Is this going to prejudice their decision?' The timing, I'd have thought, is a little contentious."
