Working together again, Phoebe Bridgers lends her voice to Rob Moose's track 'Wasted' from his upcoming EP Inflorescence
Phoebe Bridgers has been doing a lot of work recently. After joining up with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus into the musical trio boygenius, she's opened for Taylor Swift on the American pop icon's Eras Tour and featured on Arlo Parks' new track 'Pegasus,' which just dropped yesterday.
Now, she's working with long-time collaborator Rob Moose again, covering an old track of his and bringing new life to the slow tempo-ed, retrospectively contemplative and dispirited single 'Wasted.'
Previously working together Bridger's 2020 EP Copycat Killer, 'Wasted' is a part of Moose's upcoming EP Inflorescence, which is due August 11th. It comes only a week after Rob Moose dropped his nine-track 2023 album YMUSIC and a month after Moose released 'I Bend But Never Break' featuring the stunning vocals of Brittany Howard.
'Wasted' has also dropped with an accompanying music video, showing an frowning older woman from the nose down having her face made up and then dressed with a multi-coloured beaded necklace with the track's name across it.
