Phoebe Bridgers enlists Jackson Browne to perform Spotify Singles version of 'Kyoto'

Phoebe Bridgers has recorded two new tracks for the Spotify Singles series, including a new version of her Punisher hit 'Kyoto' with Jackson Browne.

The second track is a version of the late John Prine's 'Summer's End', which she performs with Maria Taylor on backing vocals. She recently covered a solo version of 'Summer's End' for a Sirius XMU Session, and performed 'Kyoto' with Browne at the 2021 Tibet House US Benefit Concert. This is the first studio version of the Jackson Browne-assisted version of 'Kyoto'.

Briders was recently nominated for four Grammy awards, including Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album (Punisher), Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance (for 'Kyoto').
