The highly anticipated third studio album by Pillow Queens, Name Your Sorrow is now available for pre-order now.
Liffey-side indie rock outfit Pillow Queens have today announced their third LP Name Your Sorrow due out on April 19.
Aside from their massive album news however, 2024 is shaping up to be a mega year for the group who today released their first single of the year in the form of 'Gone', have their biggest ever headliner upcoming in the Iveagh Gardens in July and an appearance on the new Hot Press' show Uprising on Virgin Media this Friday night.
Name Your Sorrow is available for pre-order now, however for those who are impatient for their next dose of Pillow Queens' music, their new single 'Gone' is out and ready for your consumption. 'Gone' is a raw, honest and blistering track confronting the crippling insecurities people in our time face. Although it deals with an intimate subject matter, there's no shortage on heavy guitar riffs and rock n'roll.
"Gone' tells a torturous tale of exiting a collapsing relationship, with a pulsing beat that feeds a sense of uneasiness.

The new LP is designed so that each of the eleven tracks peel back an additional layer of the human condition, from grief to joy and everything in between, culminating in a collective catharsis–a newfound sense of strength and hope in a greater sense of self.
In the words of lead vocalist and guitarist Cathy McGuinness: "It is about stages of love, loss and grief and how they can all exist alongside one another–intertwined, messy, beautiful–how both love and loss can coexist."
In November 2023, the band shared the first taste of the project with "Suffer," a melancholic melody that captures the ache of heartbreak and the struggle to let go. This summer, Pillow Queens are set to perform throughout the UK including their biggest show yet in Dublin on July 13. Tickets for this Iveagh Gardens date are available here.
