To celebrate selling out the first of their upcoming Vicar Street gigs, Pillow Queens have curated a playlist, featuring some of their "faves" who've they've "seen/are looking forward to seeing in Dublin's gorgeous Vicar St!" In addition to their sold-out show on October 1, 2022, the acclaimed Irish band are also playing the Dublin venue on October 2, due to phenomenal demand.

The 'WE DID IT' playlist features tracks by the legendary likes of Damien Dempsey, Gemma Hayes, Lankum, Little Green Cars, Lisa Hannigan, The Staves, Pavement, Bell X1, Tegan and Sara, Neutral Milk Hotel, Mitski, Dinosaur Jr., Janis Ian, Dropkick Murphys, Kurt Vile and more.

Following another landmark year – including news of their signing to Royal Mountain Records – Pillow Queens have announced a major tour for 2022, featuring gigs at Vicar St, Dublin on October 1 & 2, as well as shows in Dolans, Limerick (7); Cyprus Avenue, Cork (8); The Empire, Belfast (14); Roisin Dubh, Galway (15 & 16); and Set Theatre, Kilkenny (20). They'll also play North America, the UK and Europe, with further details available here.

Last month, they also released a surprise EP, Quietly Waiting, featuring some of their favourite artists performing stripped-back renditions of songs from their debut album, In Waiting.

Tickets for Pillow Queen's second Vicar Street gig, on Sunday, October 2, go on sale this Friday, November 26, at 10am.
