How’s this sound? A year from today, your band could have made a record at Red Bull Studios, been on tour supporting a major act, performed at the biggest UK festivals and played live from your bedroom to the entire planet via the web!

Now you’re paying attention, aren’t you? The exciting Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition is currently giving unsigned bands the opportunity to live the dream. Best of all, entering is a piece of cake! To be in with a chance to win, simply upload a video of your band or act onto the Red Bull Bedroom competition website at www.redbullbedroomjam.com. Once the video is up, the public are invited to vote for their favourites and the weekly Bedroom Jam chart will reveal which bands have received the most kudos, including views, comments and general buzz on Facebook and/or Twitter.
From there, 15 bands will be filmed live from their bedrooms for redbullbedroomjam.com (warning: finalists may be asked to make their beds...), and from those, eight bands will be chosen to play at the biggest Summer festivals, including Download and T In The Park. Three out of the eight bands in the final last year were of Irish stock (at the time of writing, prog rockers Zia Regime from Derry are heading the chart!), so don’t spare the horses on this one.
