The single was released on Valentine's Day as an anti-Valentine's anthem.
Dublin-based alternative rock band Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra have returned with a brand new single, 'I Didn't Love You When I Said I Did And I Don't Now'.
Building on their reputation of brutal honesty, the track blends clever lyricism, catchy melodies, and lead singer Sarah Deegan's arresting voice, once described by Hot Press as having "a touch of Dolores O’Riordan’s intonation".
Recorded by Sean Montgomery Dietz at Annesley House, and mastered by Blanka at Kasablanka mastering, the song explores the experience of disappointing relationships.
Influenced by indie rock heroines such as Mitski, Amanda Palmer and Angel Olsen, Deegan’s quick-witted and intimate songwriting strikes a balance between irony and sincerity. PCRO are bound to have a busy 2021, if their first single of the year is anything to go on.
