Public transport is strongly encouraged and it is advised to plan your journey in advance, giving yourself about 2 hours of travel time to and from the venue. Plan your route in advance and keep an eye on the AA road watch for reports on traffic, road works, delays, etc. that may occur on your route.
Three Dublin Bus routes will drop you outside Marlay Park gates: the 16, the 116 and the 161.
Those driving to Marley Park are asked to expect heavy delays. The best routes would be from coming from M50- Exit the m50 at junction 12 interchange, signpost R113 Knocklyon/Firhouse. Follow Scholarstown Road, Ballyboden Way, Taylors Lane, turn right onto Whitechurch road and then left onto College Road. Entrance to the car park is off college road. Please note that there is limited parking available in Marlay Park. Car parks will open 1 hour prior to the gate opening time on your ticket.
Do not attempt to park illegally in areas surrounding Marlay Park, in local estates or outside local residences. Parking enforcement rules will be in operation and you vehicle will be clamped or towed.
Alternatively, you can travel by shuttle bus.
Marathon Travel are operating a shuttle bus from Custom House Quay, in the city centre direct to Marlay Park. Return buses to custom house quay from Marlay Park will depart from 22.30 until midnight each evening and will leave on first come first serve basis. Prices for the shuttle are: €10 return when booked online before 5pm on Friday 6th of July. €12 return when booked online between 5pm on Friday 6th of July & 5pm Wednesday 11th July. Tickets bought (online or walk up on the day) after 5pm on Wednesday 11th July will cost €10 single or €15 return and are subject to availability. Tickets can be purchased at the bus at Custom House Quay each day. Please visit www.bushiredublin.net for tickets and more information on the route.
The promoter strongly recommends that you pre-book this service. Tickets are limited and may sell out in advance, as per previous years. Priority will be given to pre-booked customers on the day. (Please allow for up to two hours for travel to Marlay Park at the peak time).
