Described as “The Voice of Ireland,” legendary singer Tommy Fleming has announced two rare live dates in London and Glasgow. The Aclare native is set to perform at the London Union Chapel on 30 March 2019 and at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 5 April 2019.
Following his recently released live album, Voice of Hope II, as well as his latest studio release, All I Can, Tommy has become one of Ireland’s biggest-ever selling artists, amassing almost 7 million YouTube views and approaching 4 million album sales worldwide. Released in October 2018, Tommy’s Voice of Hope II was recorded in the beautiful setting of Galway Cathedral.
The Voice of Hope II Tour will collect spiritual inspirational music together with Tommy’s characteristically enchanting original songs. Tommy’s iconic arrangement of ‘Danny Boy’ has been described by Eric Clapton as “the best I’ve ever heard.”
Tommy’s versions of ‘Isle of Innisfree’ and ‘Hard Times’ give new life to classic tunes. His covers range from ‘The Town I Loved So Well’ to ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters,’ ‘Green Fields of France’ and ‘Something Inside So Strong,’ among others.
Tommy’s unique talent has made him recognizable worldwide, selling out several tours in Ireland, the UK, USA, Australia and Japan. He is now considered one of the most skilled singers of his generation. Recently, Tommy has toured and collaborated with greats like Elaine Paige, Kenny Rogers, Vince Gill and Mark Vincent.
