Playing My Game
She's sixteen, she's breathtakingly beautiful, she's got a shivery sensuality and a reasonable ear for a crafted melody.
She's sixteen, she's breathtakingly beautiful, she's got a shivery sensuality and a reasonable ear for a crafted melody. In 'Sitting Down Here' she's got a million selling single that'll ensure she'll never have to work again. Hopefully.
I've nothing against Norwegians, but really this is aLenes Marlinsette. And the lyrical gaucheness is very much present: "There's something up here that makes me wince, and I'm feeling the feelings I've felt ever since"? "I have no further questions your honour."
If I had to say something nice, I'd say she's got a great command of the American country-tinged/AOR genre. I'm probably wrong and this is probably great, and it'll soon be on a soundtrack for a film starring that American Beauty girl. But give me Linda Martin anyday.
