Plugd Records is back
Yup, the legendary Cork shop has found new premises.
There’s joyous news from Cork where the legendary Plugd Records is re-opening on August 28 in the ESB Substation on Caroline Street, with Jim Horgan and Albert Twomey still at the helm.
Talking to the Cork Independent, the duo explained that this is just their temporary abode until they move into a unit above the Triskel Arts Centre on Tobin Street.
As well as stocking an expanded range of books, magazines, posters and t-shirts, Plugd will team up with the Triskel and The Black Mariah experimental visuals crew to run regular instore gigs.
If the buzz is half as good as it used to be in Washington Street, we’re in for a treat!
