The band released their debut album Rice, Pasta And Other Fillers in 2016, launching them into a nearly 10-year career together.
London-based band Porridge Radio have announced their separation, following the release of their final project The Machine Starts To Sing – out February 21.
The four-track EP will be released as the band continues their final North American and European tour, ending at VESU Festival on June 22. The songs were all recorded during the production of their fourth album Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me, released in October of 2024.
"This is the last new music from Porridge Radio and marks the end of the band,” said vocalist Dana Margolin in a statement. “The songs on this EP are an important part of Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me, and mean a lot to us. We are excited for you to hear them. This band has been our life, we’re family now. These tours will be our last. Thanks so much for listening."
Yesterday, the band released a single off their upcoming EP titled ‘Don’t Want To Dance,’ described as a song about "persisting, choosing life, living and trying again."
