The Limerick artist confronts an existential crisis in the visuals for his upcoming track, featuring production from Liv 3.
Following the release of the DJ Bleak Stack-assisted single 'Generation Xanax' last month, Post Punk Podge returns with the music video for his hard-hitting new track 'FM Birds Parts I, II & III'.
Produced by fellow Limerick artist Liv 3, the song explores an existential crisis induced by a psychotic episode – leading to questions surrounding the role of the internet as a replacement of Christianity in modern society. The single will be officially available to stream and purchase on December 6, on Unscene Music's compilation of local artists.
Tipped as one of our Hot for 2019 Irish Acts, Post Punk Podge and The Technohippies have built up an impressive following on the back of their socially conscious content, combining Podge's trad fiddle background with raucous DIY beats. February saw the release of their Post Millennium Tension EP, self-described as "a call to arms and a call to the dancefloor against the hypocrisy and mundanity of modern life."
Also stay tuned for a new mixtape from Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies, arriving soon.
