Listen to 'Hard Man' below.
Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies and TPM, two of the country's most fearlessly boundary-pushing acts, have teamed up once again for 'Hard Man' – "a song about the perils of being a hard man."
Taking aim at toxic masculinity, the hard-hitting Limerick-Dundalk collaboration arrives with an accompanying music video from Graham Patterson – featuring standout guest appearances from TPM's cat Martin and Sinéad O'Connor's old bike (referenced in her cover story interview in the new issue of Hot Press).
Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies and TPM have previously collaborated on 'Government Security' – a protest song released in solidarity with housing rights activists, following the infamous forced eviction on North Frederick St in 2018.
Under their folk guise of The Mary Wallopers, TPM's Andrew and Charles Hendy, along with Sean McKenna, were also joined by Podge on fiddle for a performance last week in support of Aida Youth Centre – a vital resource for the Palestinian community in the Aida refugee camp.
