Get an exclusive listen to the hotly tipped Belfast artist's new single below.
Following the release of her lauded debut EP, Look, I'm Flyin', earlier this year, Aislinn Logan is back with a dazzling, feel-good new single, 'Never Stay Low'.
The Belfast artist has kept busy this year – co-producing new material with Brian Kelly and Johnny Oakley. 'Never Stay Low' is the first release in the new series.
“There is so much pressure on us to do things a certain way, from such a young age – all our lives," she says of the new single. "Intangible pressure, words that slip into conversation, glances, the atmosphere in a room. There’s a fear that if you don’t conform to expectations you’ll be deficient in some way, when the opposite is true. I wanted to create something about rejecting the fallacy of expectations, and the pitfalls if you don’t.”
Drawing influence from the best of Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins and ABBA, 'Never Stay Low' is an uplifting ode to following your goals.
“Whatever that may be” she says. “Want to study Korean but your parents want you to do Maths? Some bozo call you a part-timer in the studio cus you have a day-job? Itching to move to a different city but not feeling brave?”

‘Never Stay Low’ was mixed by Kristofer Harris (Ghostpoet, Belle and Sebastian, Emmy The Great). The track was co-produced by Brian Kelly and Johnny Oakley of Moons Delux.
