Since the release of his debut EP Astronaut Complex, Alt Bloom has been on the way to stardom. He took 2020 by storm, accumulating millions of streams and critical accolades the world over.

Now, he's returning with an anthemic, effervescent indie pop sound in the video for 'High School', which Hot Press is delighted to premiere. During quarantine, when Alt Bloom wasn't connecting with rapidly growing fanbase or spending time in nature, he was in the studio writing and recording music for this burgeoning chapter of his career.

In the video for 'High School', Alt Bloom experiments in a makeshift garage science lab, where his DIY pyrotechnics transform his life. The track, produced by John Hill, is full of euphoria — making the magic of the video all the more epic.

"This music video was an exploration into a sci-fi world that’s always been a dream of mine," he explains. "Every time I listened to this song it elicited something epic happening on the big hits of the song. A time machine kept visiting my imagination every time I closed my eyes when I was listening and coming up with concepts."
