'The Mountain Will Come To You' is set to be released as part of a limited edition double A-side 7'' later this month.
Following the release of his acclaimed second album, A Northern View, earlier this year, Arborist has returned with a stunning new single, 'The Mountain Will Come To You' – alongside an accompanying music video.
Just before the world came to a standstill in March 2020, the NI Music Prize-nominee headed to Attica Audio recording studio in rural Donegal, owned and operated by Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers, Soak) – to record two songs he'd been performing live, 'The Mountain Will Come To You' and 'A Heart In Minor', with a string quartet.
The ongoing pandemic forced Arborist to finish the songs at home – calling on local Northern Ireland producers Chris W Ryan (Just Mustard, Robocobra Quartet, Careerist) and Ben McAuley (Van Morrison, Girls Names) to craft the final versions of the tracks.
Both 'The Mountain Will Come To You' and 'A Heart In Minor' are set to be released as a limited edition double A-side 7" on October 24, for Record Store Day.
