The Kerryman’s latest track has finally dropped, accompanied by a self-shot music video
Vinnie Flynn is the man behind Bayonets, creating a distinctive style by uniquely blending alternative rock and indie with blues and folk. Each haunting melody lures listeners into a dark and beguiling tale, transcending the confines of a genre and creating rapt intrigue.
The brand new single ‘Farewell To Me’ deals with the realisation that sometimes it’s better to move away from a person or situation in order to save yourself. Vinnie’s mysterious originality elevate this song to new heights, continuing in the same vein of his past releases ‘Slow Burning Fire’ and ‘This Old Coast’. The accompanying music video was shot and edited by Vinnie himself, with the help of his independent record label Secret Cellar.
With a string of Irish gigs and festival appearances in the pipeline for 2019, Vinnie has been working on a new set and has been recording some new material at Darkland Studios with the assistance of Dan Doherty.
