Ahead of the release of his second album, Searcher Dreamer, Dublin songwriter Blake's Fortune returns with a stunning new single, 'Searcher' – featuring haunting backing vocals from Ailbhe Reddy.
"'Searcher' is an ethereal tale of love and loss, and trying so desperately to find hope from within a seemingly hopeless situation," Blake's Fortune, aka John Lennon, says of the release. "The writing, recording and filming of Searcher was very much a cathartic experience for me. I hope it gives the listener (and the viewer) something interesting to think about."
'Searcher' is the first single to be released from Searcher Dreamer, which was recorded in a week by producer Darragh Nolan in Asta Kalapa Studios in Wexford. The album features Ailbhe Reddy on backing vocals across all 10 tracks, as well as Lorcan and Cillian Byrne of Basciville on bass, guitar and drums.
The project follows the release of 2017's Hello World – Lennon's full-length debut as Blake's Fortune.
