D.Lewis continues to establish himself as a captivatingly original presence on the Irish hip-hop scene, with the release of his new single 'Birthday Vibes' – premiering below, ahead of its official release on streaming services tomorrow.

"When I listened to the beat I thought it had a great vibe," the Athlone-based artist says of the new track. "I wanted it to be something everyone can relate to, and despite birthdays being a bit boring during the pandemic, I thought something like this track will help lighten up their day.”

Fusing pop, R&B and hip-hop, and drawing influence from the likes of Tinie Tempah and Lil Nas X, D.Lewis has emerged as a unique force in Irish music, with over 450,000 streams on Spotify. Originally from West Africa, he has called Ireland home since the age of 16 – and has drawn on all aspects of his rich cultural background to create his dazzling distinct sound.
