They’ve been playing music together on and off for a decade, but Irish trio Dead Manifest have finally announced their arrival as a serious force on the Irish music scene with their explosive new single ‘Blood’.

Combining influences from the worlds of grunge, hard-rock, punk and metal, the release is the first of a highly anticipated series of singles set to come in 2021. It also mark the beginning of a bold new chapter for the band – which consists of Aaron Nester (vocals, guitar), Andy Rudd (bass) and Cathal Cullivan (drums).

"We’re taking ourselves more seriously," says Aaron. "But at the same time, recording ‘Blood’ – it’s just the three of us, going crazy! It was the most fun recording session we’ve ever done.”

'Blood' also features Aaron playing Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother's guitar. Stockdale had been clearing out some equipment, and mentioned it on his Instagram page. A few messages later, he had agreed to sell the Tallaght musician his legendary guitar – signing it: “May the riffs be with you, Aaron.”
