The husband-and-wife duo Driven Snow, composed of Kieran McGuinness and Emily Aylmer, have recently released a stunning pictorial music video for their newest track ‘Aurora.’

The opening track from Driven Snow’s debut album A Kind Of Dreaming, ‘Aurora’ sees McGuinness and Aylmer at their most vulnerable. Featuring dreamy sketches and whirlwind visuals, the music video perfectly illustrates McGuiness and Aylmer’s harmonies as they navigate the uncertainty and loneliness of unrequited love.

Released just ahead of a trio of live performances across Ireland, the poignant, love-driven album follows the couple as they explore the complexities of a long term relationship.

Beginning at Cork’s Winthorpe Avenue on 22nd March, Driven Snow will bring their new album to the live circuit as they move on to perform at The Kasbah at Dolan’s in Limerick on the 23rd followed by The Roisin Dubh in Galway on 6th April. Over the course of the next few weeks, the duo will also be seen supporting Nial “Bressie” Breslin’s Where Is My Mind podcast tour across the country.

After making their debut in 2022 with their irreverent single ‘Trying,’ McGuinness and Aylmer have slowly made their mark on the Irish music scene as talented songwriters and vocalists, offering up deeply personal narratives housed in their trademark harmonies and no-frills acoustics.
