Listen to the new tape from the Irish dream-pop artist below.
Having initially made his mark on the Irish scene as a member of Dublin four-piece Angular Hank, Diarmuid O'Connor continues to expand his musical horizons as passersby. Following the release of 'somewhere else' and 'franny' earlier this year, he's now shared his debut tape, ALWAYS, under the moniker – premiering below.
Recorded across various bedrooms between 2020 and 2021, ALWAYS finds passersby exploring everything from slowcore to trap.
"I was never really able to sit on the couch and bang out a classic ballad on the guitar," he comments, "so making these little musical worlds as a means to express stuff was a revelation to me."
Written and produced by passersby, the project establishes the North Dublin artist as a compellingly original force in Irish music.

The release of the tape is accompanied by a live show in Unit 44, Stoneybatter on November 19.
ALWAYS is available to stream and download as a digital album for €5 below. You can also order the project as a cassette tape here.
