The video – an exclusive Hot Press premiere – sees the Dublin-based folk duo perform their anthemic debut single as part of a live EP recording at The Cobblestone.
Sure, it might have been the summer of Charli, Chappell and 'Espresso', but it's still "the year of Jubilee". Lest we forget, DUG have unleashed the ‘Jubilee - Live at The Cobblestone’ video to boot.
The track was performed as part of a live EP recording at The Cobblestone in Smithfield back in August. Filmed by Adrian O’Connell and Glen Bollard, the live recording features Lorkin O’Reilly on resonator guitar and Jonny Pickett on banjo, as well as Michael McCarthy on drums and Aidan Gray on double bass.
‘Jubilee’ kicked off the DUG journey as their debut single, and has already become a live fan-favourite. The acclaim isn’t so surprising, considering the undeniable and carefree blitheness of the track.
Coming at a time when the world seems to be in a period of reckoning, following years of uncertainty and bleakness, ‘Jubilee’ stands as a testament to the good times ahead. It’s like 'Dog Days Are Over' for the flannel-clad, IPA drinkers.

Its magnitude is something to be felt live and in person, invoking a kind of intimate, shared catharsis. With its immersive film accompaniment, ‘Jubilee - Live at The Cobblestone’ does exactly that.
