'Learn To Love You Better' is the outfit's fourth single, taken from their upcoming album 'Click Click Domino'.
British folk duo Ida Mae release their captivating new single, 'Learn To Love You Better', today.
This is the fourth release from the duo's forthcoming album Click Click Domino, after previewing the title-track and follow-up singles ‘Road To Avalon’ and ‘Little Liars’ earlier this year.
Bringing back more of their undeniably infectious swagger, ‘Learn To Love You Better’ offers a glimpse into Ida Mae's more romantic side. While there are still plenty of smooth and jangled grooves layered throughout this new offering, there is a heartfelt passion running the length of the track, showcasing a warmer and more intimate side to their sound.
Speaking about the new release, Ida Mae (made up of husband and wife Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean) said, ‘Learn to Love You Better’ "came out of nowhere".
"It was written for a friend of ours who was wildly and selflessly in love with a partner struggling with mental health issues and wanting to do everything right," they told Hot Press.

As with everyone, Covid had a major impact on the recording of their new album, with the duo making the decision to self-produce the record from their home in Nashville, Tennessee; working in live takes late into the night.
"We have a collection of vintage drum machines and we slowly built the album sonically up around our live performances," they said.
"We were very lucky to have Ethan Johns play drums from Wiltshire in the UK and our bass player Nick Pini from his lockdown location in central London, so it was made on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean when the world had ground to a halt".
Normal life is resuming for Ida Mae however, as they have a number of live tour dates booked across the US and Europe. No dates have been announced yet for Ireland, but they hope to visit us as soon as they can, calling the Emerald Isle "one of our favourite places to play". They're especially looking forward to playing live on stage again.
"We miss the feeling of stepping on stage at the beginning of the show and the general atmosphere of being in a live music venue really! It has been a while!"
Ida Mae's new album Click Click Domino is out July 16th, pre-save or pre-order here. For tickets to the "Click Click Domino" global livestream on July 24th, click here.
