Following the release of 'Ivy Honey' and 'Bright Windows In The Night', INSIDEAWAVE are back with 'Tour Guides' – the final instalment of their debut self-titled EP.
Drawing from themes of nature, relationships and travel, the EP powerfully captures the band at a pivotal moment in their career. 'Tour Guides' was written after travelling in Central and South America – featuring elements of raw, traditional sounds picked up during their trip, as well as reflections on biodiversity and wildlife in the lyrics.
Since forming in 2017, the Dublin-based five-piece have forged a reputation as one of the most compellingly original acts on the Irish indie-rock scene – with their dreamy, colourful sound clocking up over 15,000 streams on Spotify, and earning coveted spots on editorial playlists like 'An Alternative Éire'.
With appearances at Forbidden Fruit and Whelan's Ones To Watch under their belt, INSIDEAWAVE are also set to play Ireland Music Week in October.
As well as being available to stream and download across all platforms on August 21, their self-titled EP will also be released as a limited edition 12" vinyl – including a pack of native Irish wildflower seeds.
