We're delighted to premiere the powerful new video from the Dublin multi-instrumentalist.
After spending years co-writing with some of Ireland's biggest chart toppers, James Cramer steps into the spotlight with 'Simple Man' – the first single from his highly anticipated debut solo album.
"The idea behind the video for 'Simple Man' is just to show the joy that can be experienced through the simplicity of life: movement, outdoor life, dance and meeting friends," Cramer explains. "Although it was made before our current global crisis, those simple things seem all the more poignant now as we adjust to self-isolation for the good of everyone."
As well as co-writing songs for the likes of Hermitage Green, Eleanor McEvoy and Luan Parle, the Dublin-born multi-instrumentalist has kept busy as the frontman of award-winning alt-folk act Tupelo. He's also had his solo work featured on Canadian TV series Hello Goodbye.
'Simple Man', recorded with producer Eirik Molnes Husabø in Norway, marks a thrilling new chapter in Cramer's career.
