The genre-blending band crowd into Steve Wickham's kitchen for their new music video.
Following the success of their latest live album, Escape, supported by a sold-out tour of Switzerland and Germany, Sligo-based band NoCrows have returned with a brilliant new music video for 'Dancing In The Kitchen'.
The tune was penned by the group's legendary fiddler Steve Wickham – a long-serving member of The Waterboys, who has also recorded with the likes of Bob Dylan, U2, Elvis Costello, Sinéad O'Connor, World Party, Declan O'Rourke and more. Fittingly, the music video, directed by Tom Wickham and Kevin Burke (students of Film & Documentary at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology), was shot in Steve's own kitchen.
Formed over a decade ago, NoCrows also consists of Anna Houston (cello, mandolin, vocals), Felip Carbonell (guitar, percussion, vocals), Ray Coen (guitar, fiddle, vocals), Eddie Lee (bass, vocals) and Oleg Ponomarev (violin, vocals).
The Sligo outfit's latest album, Escape, was recorded earlier this year at two concerts in Leitrim.

"When an LP is as finely recorded as this, with such sparkling musicianship, there’s nothing much to do but luxuriate in it," noted Hot Press's Peter McGoran in his review of the album. "Escape showcases a band on a roll, delivering an eclectic mix of Irish trad, classical, jazz and world music."
