The rising Irish alternative band are back with a new tune and ready to play live shows again.
Fresh from releasing their debut EP earlier this year, Dublin post-punk outfit Scattered Ashes are ready to drop a new track, 'Slow Motion', that Hot Press is proud to premiere.
Coming out this Friday, October 1, the band is ready to tour again on the back of the single, with dates lined up in Dun Laoghaire, Galway, as well as another show in Dublin later this year.
"'Slow Motion' deals with the helpless surrender of a deteriorating relationship," explains frontman Rob Dalton.
"It's watching the person you love change before your own eyes but feeling powerless to stop it, in doing so you become a prisoner of time, waiting for the final nail in the coffin to declare your commitment null and void."
The tune, recorded with Fontaines DC producer Daniel Doherty, will be included on another EP coming in 2022.
