Following the release of 'Football Sundays' earlier this summer, The Zang are back with new single 'Drugs' – and a fittingly trippy accompanying video shot by Ciara Scullion.
"Drugs. They're everywhere," The Zang's frontman Chris Molloy reflects. "And almost everybody takes them for one reason or another. The song is a commentary on that... It’s also a love song. Fuck Big Pharma. The idea that people are getting rich off the back of everyone else’s pain is truly sinister."
Previously tipped by Hot Press as one of the most captivating alternative rock bands in Ireland, The Zang are gearing up to release their self-titled debut album on October 16.
