Louth artist Tommy Tomad has dropped 'Middle', a hot new dance track with DJ Dacosta. A member of the Afrobeat TFCLIQUE collective, he's offered us a fresh jam – premiering below.

Tommy says that making the tune was very fun for him. "When we set off to make the song I actually wrote two different songs to the instrumental," he explains.

"I wanted to write about what it will feel like clubbing for the first time after a long time as the world is opening back up again."

"I went back and forth with (producer of the song) ttokz trying to figure out which version of the song was the best. In conclusion, ttokz liked the song from the ‘middle’ to the end. The word ‘Middle’ stood out to me due to the overall theme."

Starting out with music in his local church choir, the new track represents how far Tommy has grown since releasing his first EP in 2018, Sweet Dreams Tape.
