Prolific Derry musician, songwriter and director releases his third music video in 47 days.
Hot on the heels of his video for 'The Long Road Back' – which was hot on the heels of his '80s-inspired 'Wide Open Road' video! – Paul Casey returns with another offering for the summer, and this is something entirely new...
Taking inspiration from Phil Spector's Wall Of Sound, 'Summer's Here Alright' is a thoughtfully crafted and distinctively layered track, written and recorded at his own Cable Junction Studio.
Filmed in the medieval Roman neighbourhood of Trastevere, the video takes us on a sun-drenched caper (shot in 36-degree heat!), across Rome's cobbled streets and artworked backdrops. The video stars – direct from Milan! – Nicole Federici, along with Imma Bove and Viola Carsana.
Casey is joined on the track by musical accomplices Liam Bradley on drums and percussion and Johnny McCullough on piano and Hammond.
