The reissue of the album is slated to drop on August 6th.
Previously unreleased versions of ‘Cosmic Empire’ and ‘Run Of The Mill’ from George Harrison’s LP, All Things Must Pass were shared by Capitol and UME on Friday July 9th.
The singles arrive as part of the rollout for the 50th anniversary of the album, which is set for release on August 6th. The reissue of the iconic album includes 30 demos cut by the Beatle before the recording sessions.
Before his recording sessions for the album in 1970, Harrison spent May 26th and 27th creating demos of the 30 songs at Studio Three at EMI Studios, Abbey Road in London.
Harrison laid down the 15 demos on the first day with Ringo Starr and bassist Klaus Voorman, and on the second day he demoed the second 15 solo for producer Phil Spector. 'Cosmic Empire' is taken from the second session.
26 of the 30 demos recorded were never released, prior to this upcoming reissue of All Things Must Pass. The 30 demos are included on the anniversary record, which includes album songs and unreleased tracks like, ‘Going Down to Golders Green,’ ‘Dehra Dun,’ ‘Sour Milk Sea,’ ‘Om Hare Om,’ ‘Window Window,’ ‘Beautiful Girl,’ ‘Mother Divine,’ and ‘Nowhere to Go.’
